Our 1000 m2 food processing unit is currently under construction and we expect it to be completed during the first quarter of 2020. From there, we will supply our unique range of sauces, marinades, condiments, preserved vegetables and jams to the Malawian retail and foodservice market. The existing products were developed during 2018 taking respecting the company mission which in a nutshell is “to provide Malawi with high quality, tasty, innovative and locally made products as a competitive alternative to imported products with similar functionality” and, at alter stage “to promote IWE FOODS brand as an ambassador of Malawi quality products in the competitive export market”. We are ambitious.
